Fomtec Class F is an aqueous solution of high activity salts and stabilizers for use on oil, fat and grease related fires. Fomtec Class F will combat fires as found in restaurant appliances such as deep fat fryers, griddles, chip pan hoods and ventilating equipment. Fomtec Class F is a ready-to use premix, therefore it eliminates the need of dilution before charging the system.
Fomtec Class F provides excellent fire knock down, surface cooling effect and post fire security when dealing with a wide variety of restaurant appliances related fires. Fomtec Class F should not be used on fires involving energized electrical equipment.

When Fomtec Class F is used as a fine spray, in the form of droplets, onto a fat related fire, it provides a quick flame knock down and surface cooling. It also reacts with hot fat and forms soap like layer on the surface of the hot fat. This layer provides a blanket between the flammable vapors and atmospheric oxygen which reduces the chance of re-ignition.
Fomtec Class F is a ready-to-use premix. It should not be diluted or blended with water.

Enviro Class F is non-hazardous, biodegradable substance formulated using raw materials specially selected for their fire performance and their environmental profile. The product is totally free from fluorinated surfactants and polymers and other organohalogens, and therefore it does not contain any PFAS. The handling of spills of concentrate or foam solutions should however be undertaken according to local regulations. Normally sewage systems can dispose foam solution based on this type of foam concentrate, but local sewage operators should be consulted. Stored in original unbroken packaging the product will have a long shelf life. Shelf life in excess of 10 years will be found in temperate climates. As with all foams, shelf life will be depen-dent on storage temperatures and conditions.
