Class A foam or also known as “wild fire foam” and “wetting agent”. Intended for use against Class A fires such as wood, paper, textiles, rubber or plastics. Class A foams are blend of surfactants that enable strong wetting and foaming properties. Class A foams are often intended for use at very low concentration of 0,1 to 1%, and are formulated using environmentally favorable raw materials. In most cases Class A foams are fluorine free foams as well. Specially formulated variants excists for enhanced use against fires in plastics, such as Fomtec Enviro SPX 1%, which is an approved product for use against plastic fires as well as traditional Class A applications.
