Dafo Fomtec AB is proud to announce that on 1st April documentation was received from The Department of the Navy confirming that Enviro Mil conforms to the requirements of type 3 under MIL-PRF-32725(2) “Fire Extinguishing Agent, Fluorine-Free Foam (F3) Liquid Concentrate, for Land-Based, Fresh Water Applications”. The Qualified Products List QPL-32725 will be updated in the near future to include the Enviro MIL in 5, 55 and 265 US Gallon containers.

For those end users who utilise salt water or who are not ready, or able, to make the transition to Fluorine-Free Foam Fomtec continues to manufacture and supply type 3 AFFF to MIL-PRF-84385F. Please note that as per the specification for the mentioned AFFF, the Fomtec AFFF 3% M is fully compatible with other AFFF concentrates manufactured and supplied to MIL-PRF-84385F. Fomtec confirms that the AFFF 3% M along with the other high-performance PFAS-containing foam concentrates, will continue to be manufactured and supplied whilst it is legally allowed to do so.
