Fomtec Enviro for Systems

The selection and design of foam systems is application dependent and can be anything from a foam assisted sprinkler system to a high expansion foam system. Design will depend on many variables such as fuel type, storage methods, structural conditions, and applicable standards. In this section we will present our solutions for the most common applications: storage tank protection, dike protection, loading rack protection, foam assisted sprinklers, hangar protection and high expansion systems. With UL 162 and FM 5130 approvals in place Fomtec can now offer solutions for all these applications with a Non-PFAS based foam concentrate.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy is that any foam system must consist of components that have been tested and approved for its intended use as a part of a system proven to work in harmony. This is critically important when using fluorine free foams because the effectiveness of these foams is much more dependent on the quality (expansion ratio, drainage time and bubble structure) of the foam generated by the system, than fluorinated foams are.

Tank protection

Fomtec offer solutions tested to UL 162, FM 5130 and EN test standards. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, foam makers, foam chambers and foam monitors.

Dike protection

Fomtec offer solutions tested to UL 162, FM 5130 and EN test standards. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, foam makers, low and medium expansion nozzles as well as foam monitors.

Loading racks

Fomtec offer solutions tested to UL 162, FM 5130 and EN test standards. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, sprinklers and deluge nozzles, low and medium expansion foam generators as well as foam monitors.

Foam assisted sprinkler

Fomtec can now offer Enviro Fluorine Free Foam solutions listed to UL 162 and approved to FM 5130 for use with standard sprinklers, including the first FM approved solutions on polar solvent fuel fires. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, standard orifice sprinklers, large orifice sprinklers as well as aspirated sprinklers.

Hangars

Fomtec offers Fluorine Free Foam solutions tested to UL 162, FM 5130, EN 13565-2. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, sprinklers, foam monitors and high expansion generators.

Marine

Fomtec offer products tested to IMO, MED and Military standards. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems, nozzles and foam monitors.

High expansion

Fomtec offer products tested to UL, CNPP, EN and IMO standards. Our product offering includes foam concentrates, proportioning systems and high expansion foam generators.
