Fomtec Enviro 3% ICAO is a fluorine free firefighting foam concentrate that has no intentionally added fluorinated surfactants and polymers (PFAS).
The unique formulation of Fomtec Enviro 3% ICAO enables the foam to rapidly cover burning surfaces and control of the fire. As a result, it is effective against hydrocarbon fires and with the presence of special polymers it is also effective against polar solvents.
Fomtec Enviro 3% ICAO is intended for use on class B hydro-carbon fuels, and has specifically been tested against ICAO 2013 level B standard for use in airport firefighting involving fuel such as Jet A-1 or aviation Kerosene. It is developed for use in Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles (ARFFV), Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) and airport crash trucks where fast extinguishment is essential for saving life. Fomtec Enviro 3% ICAO can be used as low and medium and high expansion foam. Fomtec Enviro 3% ICAO is also effective against class A fires such as wood, paper, textiles etc.

Stored in original unbroken packaging the product will have a long shelf life. Shelf life in excess of 10 years will be found in temperate climates. As with all foams, shelf life will be dependent on storage temperatures and conditions.
