Class F
Application
Fomtec Class F low pH liquid fire extinguishing agent provides excellent fire knock down, surface cooling effect and post fire security when dealing with a wide variety of restaurant appliances related fires. Fomtec Class F low pH liquid fire extinguishing agent should not be used on fires involving energised electrical equipment.
Fire Performance & Foaming
When Fomtec Class F low pH liquid fire extinguishing agent is used as a fine spray, in the form of droplets, onto a fat related fire, it provides a quick flame knock down and surface cooling. It also reacts with hot fat and forms soap like layer on the surface of the hot fat. This layer provides a blanket between the flammable vapours and atmospheric oxygen which reduces the chance of re-ignition.
