Renex D is a dry chemical powder with a good efficiency and performance in fires of class D (involving burning metals). Renex D is a mixture of sodium and potassium salts.

Class D powders form a crust over the burning metal and cuts off the supply of oxygen.
Renex powders are manufactured and tested according to European Standard EN615 (1995).
Fomtec is accredited to ISO 9001.
Renex D is packed in 25kg plastic drums.
Renex powders are formulated not to be affected by long term storage. Renex D is stable at low temperatures. However it should not be stored at temperatures above 50° C.
