Fomtec Alpha A is a ready-to-use foam solution for extinguishing and inhibiting combustible material fires. It is a blend of specially selected ammonium salts of phosphoric acid, hydrocarbon surfactants and anticorrosive agents for use on class A fuel fires. Fomtec Alpha A does not contain any hazardous substances and does not require any special labelling when transported. Fomtec Alpha A has been designed to have a much longer shelf life than normal premix foam solutions.

Description

Fomtec Alpha A is a ready-to-use  foam solution for extinguishing and inhibiting combustible material fires.   It is a blend of specially selected ammonium salts of phosphoric acid, hydrocarbon surfactants and anticorrosive agents  for use on class A fuel fires. Fomtec Alpha A does not contain any hazardous substances and does not require any special labelling when transported.

Fomtec Alpha A has been designed to have a much longer shelf life than normal  premix  foam solutions.

Application

Fomtec Alpha A provides excellent extinguishments of class A fires by providing deep penetration of the water into the burning material. Fomtec Alpha A can be used with both aspirating and non-aspirating discharge devices. It is compatible with all dry chemical powders.

Environment

Fomtec Alpha A is non hazardous, biodegradable substance. As for all foams it should be handled according to the local  regulations when used.

In comparison to many other foam solutions Fomtec Alpha A is environmental friendly.

Storage/Shelf Life

Stored in original unbroken packaging or correctly filled in appropriate fire extinguisher or closed from storage tank the product will have a long shelf life. The recommended storage temperature range of Fomtec Alpha A is from 0°C to 50°C. Shelf life of at least 5 years will be found in temperate climates.

We supply  Fomtec  Alpha A in 200 litre drums and 1000 litre containers or in bulk.
